TechCrunch is reporting on act of collaboration between Google, Yahoo and Microsoft. On the evening of November 15th, the three major search engines reported an agreement to use the same sitemap protocol, vastly simplifying the process of letting all three search systems know of site updates and changes. The protocol based at Sitemaps.org includes instruction for web masters on how to install the XML sitemap.
